Principal

Mr. Robert Etheredge is a proud member of the Saluda High School class of 1999. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Cambridge College. Mr. Etheredge is an accomplished educator and has served in many roles in his career. 

 

He began his career in education as a PE Teacher at Strom Thurmond High School in 2005-2010. He has also been a teacher and Head Boys Basketball Coach at Swansea and Saluda High. Mr. Etheredge became an Administrator at Saluda High at the beginning of the 2016-2017 school year. He served as an Assistant Principal for 3 years before being named Principal in 2019.

 

In addition to being a Principal and Teacher, Mr. Etheredge is also a licensed trainer for the International Institute of Restorative Practices. He is very passionate about the social and emotional well-being of his students and staff. He believes in building a culture of community; one relationship at a time.
